Pool view rooms were nice. Spacious balcony and rooms. Air conditioning works fine. Pool staff was friendly and smiley. Good location near the main section. Pool cleaned every morning.
What could be improved?
Air conditioning worked continuously in one villa but not in the other. Fridge barely worked in one villa and was warm at best. Not many drink options by the pool. The pool rooms attract more mosquitoes, and guests get bitten a lot. Doors do not shut properly, leaving a gap for mosquitoes to enter, and locks are flimsy. Work is being done on the place, so hopefully, improvements are made. The receptionist at check-in was not friendly; when asked to arrange a taxi, she said they didn’t offer the service, yet we saw another couple ask a few days later, and the same staff member helped them.

It’s a great little hotel if the effort was made to fix things that don’t work.
What could be improved?
Stayed 5 nights. No cleaning despite asking twice! Only received 2 clean towels, with used ones left in the room. Phone charger melted in the room—wondered what the burning smell was. No cleaning in common areas. Nobody speaks English at all. Money demanded upfront for everything, but maybe that’s just Thailand? Staff seemed miserable, probably due to low wages.

Pleasant
Big rooms in the hotel. The staff were lovely, and the pool was a beautiful setting.
What could be improved?
Initially booked a bungalow, but the first one had a faulty door lock and was very dated. Booked a double bed but got two singles instead. The staff kindly moved us to another bungalow, but the air conditioning wasn’t working. They then suggested we move to the main hotel, which was much better—huge room with a large balcony and a pool view. If you stay here, I suggest booking in the main hotel. The resort itself is very dated, with many broken or non-functioning features. You can tell this place could be amazing with a bit more investment. I suspect they are short-staffed, but the staff present were really lovely.
